Sundays like this are rare for me. Open Sundays with nothing to dictate my time but a sun setting over the Pacific Ocean. Most weekends are packed full of work for me. Thursdays are my Mondays because I focus primarily on family photography and most families are together on the weekends. I love my job. I do. It’s more than a job, its a gift but it also eats into the time when the three of us are awake and occupying the same space. My husband works 9 to 5 Monday through Friday with a heavy dose of overtime sprinkled in. So this, this glorious Sunday was very special, just like these two people are very very special to me. The weather was stunning, even light sparkling and bouncing off the calm side of Fiesta Island. San Diego weather, I don’t know if I could survive anywhere else now. The water was warm enough to play in and we were able to pull the Jeep right onto the beach for a picnic. Sun, food, and a happy tired not so baby who falls asleep on the way home even though all the windows are on.
